How does the QR-Bell virtual intercom work?
QR-Bell is a virtual intercom developed in Geneva by Natives Sàrl: a QR-Code displayed at the entrance replaces the intercom panel. Visitors scan it with their smartphone, pick the person they are visiting and call them from their browser; the call rings on that person’s phone. No app, no wiring, no hardware to install.

What is a virtual intercom?
A virtual intercom replaces the panel and wiring of a traditional intercom with a QR-Code. With QR-Bell, visitors scan the QR-Code with their smartphone, pick the person or company they are visiting and call them directly. The call rings on that person’s phone.
Do visitors need to install an app?
No. The QR-Code opens a web page in the smartphone’s browser: the camera is enough to scan it and the call goes through the browser. Nothing to download, no account to create.
How much does QR-Bell cost?
For one company, from CHF 99.– per month; for a building hosting several companies, from CHF 149.– per month (excl. VAT, billed annually). A tailor-made plan covers specific needs and every account starts with a 30-day free trial. The QR-Code display (plate, totem…) and its fitting are not included.
Is any building work or wiring required?
No. Simply display one or more QR-Codes (plate, sticker, totem) at the entrance or wherever useful. We take care of the setup and of running the service.
How does the person being visited receive the call?
On their phone, like an ordinary call: they pick up and talk directly with the visitor. You choose who can be called and set your usual or exceptional welcome hours in a few clicks.
Is QR-Bell suitable for a building with several companies?
Yes. The “Several companies” plan brings every company in a building together behind the same QR-Code. With the Enterprise plan, a search function helps visitors quickly find the right person.
Does QR-Bell replace a reception desk?
It can replace or support it: as a permanent solution where there is no receptionist, or to cover their occasional absences. It can also take staff deliveries off your reception’s hands.
Is the interface available in several languages?
Yes. The welcome interface is multilingual and its messages adapt to your brand identity (Enterprise).
